KSTOA
KSTOA, a non-governmental and non-profit association, is dedicated to advancing the Passenger Transport industry in Karnataka state. With a proactive approach, KSTOA actively contributes to the development processes within the region. Representing various segments of Passenger Transport, including corporate taxies, tourist taxies, maxi cabs, employee transport vehicles, stage carriages, online transport providers (ecommerce), tourist buses, school buses, company buses, and vehicles involved in public-private partnerships (PPP), KSTOA serves as a pivotal organization in shaping the transportation landscape in Karnataka.

OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE TRADE UNION HAS BEEN ORGANISED:
(a). To promote the consideration and discussion of all questions and problems affecting luxury cab operators, Tourist Taxies, Employee transportation vehicles, Tourist Operating all kinds of vehicles with new technology based/ecommerce, to represent and protect the interests of persons engaged in the business of operating luxury cabs, tourist taxies, car rental services, etc.
(b). To present before the Central and State Governments, their departments, Government bodies, government authorities and particularly tax authorities, transport authorities, police authorities, etc., in all matters relating to or affecting luxury cab/tourist taxi operators.
(c). To take steps to promote welfare measures, better working conditions and to extend benefits to persons employed or engaged by luxury cab/taxi operators and particularly drivers, tourist guides, mechanics and the like and their families.
(d). To promote among the luxury cab operators, Tour Operator, Employs transporters & healthy spirit of competition so as to enhance quality of services which will ensure to the benefit of the general public and particularly with a view to improve standard of timing, operators, maintain reasonable tariffs for use of luxury Cabs/ taxies/Mini Buses/Buses.
(e). To diffuse among its member’s information on all matters affecting the business of luxury cab, tourist taxi operators and All private Passenger Transporters’ and to print, publish, issue and circulate papers, periodicals, books, circulars, Advertising developing, websites design, web portals, blogs, all social medias and other written forms as may seem conductive to promote the objects of the association.
(f) To provide legal or other assistance, advice and expertise to the members of the association or the persons involved in the business of operation of luxury cabs, Tourist Taxies, Employee transportation vehicles, Tourist Operating all kinds of vehicles with new On demand technology based E-commerce plate form based services, on any matter relating to their vocation and particularly regarding insurance claims, accident cases, certifications, No objection clearances, licences, permit, etc., from transport authorities, police cases, claim arising out of taxes, duties or levies and the like.
(g) To communicate and interact with other associations, unions or chambers, State and Central Governments Tourism and Transport Department, Union Tax Authority (Direct and Indirect Tax), Insurance regulatory, Pollution Board, National highway Authority, civic authority body, Online Business organisation, Automobile Manufacturers, Hospitality bodies, latest technology adopted Transportation system having day to day updating progressive market participations. Similar objectives so as to embed latest knowledge and information relating to the business of luxury cab, Tourist Taxies, Employee transportation vehicles, Tourist Operating all kinds of vehicles.
(h) To receive and collect gifts, subscriptions, donations either by cash or in Kind or acquire by any other lawful ways and means and spend the same for Fulfilment of all or any aims and objectives of the Association. The properties of Association shall be utilised for the promotion and fulfilment of aims and objectives of the Association provided if any donor intends that his contributions, donations or subscriptions shall be utilized only for the improvement of Association and its members.
(I) To organise medical relief, Environmental awareness, Implementation of Guidelines and safety measure for drivers, Implementation of new Technology, fighting against the unscientific policies, promotion of measures for alleviation of poverty and to promote the ideals of health and better living.
(J) KARNATAKA STATE TRAVELS OPERATORS’ ASSOCIATION to provide comprehensive development of tourist vehicle, tourism, hospitality sector in Karnataka and to serve as an intermediary within legal framework with good relationship with government and private organizations.

• Member of Indian Tourist Transporters Association SINCE inception.
• Tourism committee of Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce (FKCCI) SINCE inception.
• Karnataka State chapter chairman of Indian Tourist Transporters Association
• Vice Chairman of South Zone – Tourist Cab, BOCI.
• EC member of Karnataka Tourism Society GOK
(K) To do all such other lawful things as are incidental or conductive to the attainment of the above objectives.

Vision
KSTOA likely represents the interests of various segments within the passenger Transport industry and Tourism, advocating for their needs and concerns to government bodies and other relevant stakeholders.
The association may act as a mediator or facilitator in resolving disputes or conflicts that arise within the passenger Transport sector and Tourism, promoting harmony and professionalism among its members.
KSTOA may work towards the overall development and growth of the passenger Transport sector and Tourism in Karnataka, potentially through initiatives such as infrastructure improvement, training programs, and technology adoption.
KSTOA might organize training programs, workshops, and seminars aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of individuals working in the passenger Transport industry and Tourism.
